Tour starts: Greater Kruger (Hoedspruit)
Tour ends: Cape Town
Includes: Accommodation, return transfers to chosen lodge and car rental – Group B (VW Polo or similar)

Itinerary: Day-to-day
Day 1: Sabi Sands Game Reserve (Greater Kruger Park)
Arrive at Hoedspruit’s Eastgate Airport where you will be met by your driver for a transfer to your lodge (approximately 11⁄2 hour road transfer). Arrive in time for high tea which is served at around 15h00. Thereafter it is time for an afternoon / evening game drive in an open 4×4 Land Rover together with your knowledgeable guide (Game Ranger) and other guests from the lodge. Stop to enjoy a spectacular African sunset with a sundowner drink and snacks before returning to the lodge in the dark, where you may be lucky to spot a rare nocturnal animal with the aid of powerful torches. Dinner served under the stars.
Day 2 & 3: Sabi Sands Game Reserve (Greater Kruger Park)
Full days on safari: Early rise followed by coffee and rusks and then a morning game drive. The Timbavati is well known for its excellent game viewing and if you are lucky you may even spot one of the famous white lions of the Timbavati. Other than the Big 5 there are great opportunities to see all sorts of creatures, both big and small, and you ranger is an expert on the area’s flora and fauna. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before having time to relax during the heat of the day, either at the pool or in the comfort of your room. In the late afternoon it is once again time for a game drive in the hope of seeing some more exciting animals. Dinner is served at the lodge on your return.
Day 4: Kruger to Cape Town
Final game drive followed by breakfast and checkout. Transfer back to Skukuza Airport for your onward flight to Cape Town (not included). On arrival in Cape Town you will collect your rental car and drive to your chosen hotel.
DAY 5 - 7: Cape Town
Days at leisure. Suggested activities:
- Do a day trip in your rental car to witness the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans at Cape Point. Be sure to make a stop at Boulder’s Beach Penguin Colony
- Visit the V&A Waterfront with its many shops, restaurants and pubs plus the impressive Two Oceans Aquarium
- Take a tour to Robben Island, the old prison island
- Travel to the top of Table Mountain for spectacular views of the city, sea and distant mountains
- Spend time on some of Cape Town’s beautiful beaches such as Clifton and Camps Bay
- Take in the highlights of Cape Town City Centre such as Company Gardens, Greenmarket Square and the nearby Bo-Kaap area
- Take a drive to the wonderful vineyards of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Alternatively, you can join a guided tour and leave the driving to someone else as you sample some of South Africa’ best wines.
DAY 8: Checkout
Breakfast followed by checkout. Day at leisure until you return the rental car to either the Cape Town City office or Cape Town Airport.
