Itinerary: Day-to-day
Day 1: Nairobi
Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport you will be met and then transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Rest of the day at your own leisure.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Breakfast followed by checkout. We drive south to the beautiful Amboseli National, a journey of 250kms which should take approximately 4 hours to drive. Lunch at the camp on arrival followed by an afternoon guided walk in Amboseli National Park where you will get a chance to get close to nature. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park
Breakfast at the camp followed by a full day game drive in Amboseli National Park. The park is famous for its vast array of wildlife including the endangered black rhino as well as spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Picnic lunch in the park. Arrive back at camp before sunset Dinner and overnight at your lodge in the Serengeti.
DAY 4: Lake Nakuru
Early breakfast followed by checkout. Today we continue our journey to Lake Nakuru – 430km (6 – 7 hours). Lake Nakuru is famous for the large number of flamingos that flock to its shores. Late afternoon game drive before returning to our lodge to enjoy a hearty dinner.
DAY 5: Maasai Mara
Breakfast at your lodge. We drive to Maasai Mara National Park – 350km (5 – 6 hours). Lunch is served at the camp upon arrival. In the afternoon we head out for a walk together with a Maasai warrior. Dinner served at the lodge in the evening.
DAY 6: Maasai Mara
After breakfast we will enjoy a full day safari the famous Maasai Mara National Park where we will hopefully see both the large number of wildebeest and zebras as well as the lions, leopards and cheetah that prey on them. Picnic lunch in the park and on our way back to camp we will visit a Maasai village where we can learn more about this fascinating tribe. Dinner at the lodge in the evening.
DAY 7: Checkout
After breakfast, we drive back to Nairobi – 320km (6 hours) where we will then enjoy a lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta Airport in time for your onward bound flight.
