New airline routes open up endless possibilities
As more and more airlines develop connecting routes across Southern Africa and beyond, the African skies are opening up to endless possibilities, creating even more opportunity where combining safari packages and creating bespoke travel itineraries are concerned. Deserts and waterfalls
First up is excellent news from Fly Namibia, which has announced the introduction of direct flights between Windhoek and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, making it possible to combine our amazing Namibia and Zimbabwe safari packages!
Flights kick off on 4 April 2024 and bookings are open now, so we’re ready to chat about itineraries that feature safaris to the world’s most ancient desert – the Namib – and its largest falling sheet of water – the magnificent Victoria Falls, towering at 108m high and 1,7km wide!
The Cape to Kruger made easy!
Next up is the fantastic news that South African-based regional airline Safair has introduced a new flight between the breathtakingly beautiful Mother City of Cape Town and the legendary Kruger National Park, via the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. South Africa’s leading regional carrier Airlink has announced that its peak season “bush and beach” service will resume on 1 July 2024 till 5 January 2025, linking Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in Nelspruit with the coastal hub of Vilanculos in Mozambique – gateway to the stunningly beautiful Bazaruto Archipelago.
