Our safari circuit is growing thanks to increased regional routes
The news that FlySafair is adding regional routes to its offering is more than welcome as our skies begin to steadily open up again. Flying from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, from October FlySafair is introducing daily flights to Harare, flights to Livingstone four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, three flights a week to Victoria Falls and four flights a week to Maputo.
Late last year fellow South African carrier Cem Air announced new regional flights from Johannesburg, including to Livingstone, Lilongwe and Nairobi. Cem Air also flies to Victoria Falls, Kasane and Maun, as well as offering daily flights from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit and between Hoedspruit and Cape Town.
Add to this FastJet’s connections from South Africa’s Greater Kruger to Victoria Falls, linking two of Africa’s most iconic destinations, as well as its route from Victoria Falls to Maun and expanding domestic routes within Zimbabwe, and you soon begin to see that our safari circuit is growing nicely with lots more connectivity meaning more diverse itineraries for business and incentive safaris.
